Location just off restaurant and staff as well as the establishment. Plus, 15 minutes drive from Dalhousie Castle Falconry. Excellent service, luxurious king room with copper bath and sky TV plus good facilities.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

I had a nice evening by the roaring log fire and enjoyed the homemade soup for starters. The lamb dinner was satisfying and they catered to my dietary needs smoothly. It was good value for the experience. The staff were helpful.
The busy road nearby impacted the overall ambiance, and I noted a lack of hotel amenities in the area.

Just a reliable pick for a short interlude in Dalkeith with great value for money. The gnocchi I had was amazing, with perfect textures and a delicious cheese sauce. Bring a fan if you stay in a warmer room.

The Junior Suite with Terrace was spacious and well-appointed, with a lovely patio. The breakfast was particularly enjoyable, and the friendly staff provided attentive service. The hotel lacks amenities, and its location on a busy road detracts from the overall experience. While the dinner was nice, the hotel seems to be struggling with its past reputation as a top gastropub.

Cozy vibes and good coffee
The new lounge area is super bright and comfy. Enjoyed a flat white that hit the spot! Food was really good for lunch too, good quality at a fair price. Only downside was a bit of noise from the hall, but it wasn't too bad considering the atmosphere.

Charming Stay with Attentive Staff!
We enjoyed our night in a beautifully decorated room. The staff offered a warm welcome. Tip, Request a room away from the road to minimize noise. Breakfast could use a bit of improvement, but the ambience made it worthwhile!
